What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember you between pages — for example, that you're signed in. Similar technologies include local storage in your browser. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
Cookies we use
These cookies are set by Lebx Mail on our own domain. They are strictly necessary (or remember a choice you made), so they don't require consent under the ePrivacy Directive, PECR or similar laws.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
acelle_session | Keeps you signed in and remembers your session as you move between pages. Also set on interactive public pages, such as pricing and sign-up, to protect forms | Essential | 2 hours of inactivity |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery attacks | Essential (security) | 2 hours |
remember_web_* | Keeps you signed in on this device, only if you tick "Remember me" | Essential (on request) | Up to 400 days, or until you log out |
last_language_code | Remembers the language you chose on the sign-in pages | Preference | 1 year |
Inside the app we may also use your browser's local storage to remember interface preferences, such as a collapsed menu or a table layout. This never leaves your browser.
Third-party cookies
| Provider | Where | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google reCAPTCHA | Sign-up form | Tells people and bots apart to prevent fake registrations. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms. |
| Google / Facebook | Only if you choose "Sign in with…" | Authenticates you with that provider. Their cookies are governed by their own policies. |
| Payment processors | Checkout pages | Process payments securely and prevent fraud. |
Pages and emails our customers publish
Customers can publish forms, landing pages and funnels using Lebx Mail. Funnel pages set a funnel_sid cookie (30 days) so the customer can see how visitors move between the steps of that funnel. Customers may also add their own scripts, such as analytics or ad pixels, to their pages. Those customers are responsible for disclosing the cookies they use and obtaining consent where required.
Emails sent through the Service don't use cookies. They may contain a tracking image and tracked links that record opens and clicks for the sender's reports — see our Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies only. If you block our essential cookies you won't be able to sign in to the app, but you can still read our public pages.
Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie that isn't strictly necessary, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
